Description:

Reporting to senior leadership, the Lead Software Architect is responsible for the development team and building solutions to improve technical systems. You will lead a small team building scalable SaaS platforms using some of the latest technology, including Python, MongoDB, React.js., and AWS. It’s all in the cloud with an ever-growing microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead areas of software solution and architecture design, technical design, data modeling, code reviews, best practices, audits, tests, and procedures

• Supervise and delegate project duties and support tickets to the development team and be accountable for team productivity, quality, and effectiveness

• Collaborate with the Product and Project Managers to gather and define technical project requirements, and milestones, flag and escalate issues as needed, and successfully execute software delivery.

• Fix bugs in new and existing code

• Scale systems, databases, and solutions

• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of performance metrics

• Identify and take advantage of exploits on various platforms by exploring white, gray, and black hat methods

• Keep abreast of new software technologies, as well as conform to best practices in cybersecurity

Create and maintain documentation that helps others understand what the software does, how it does it, and how to use it

• Hire freelance development talent to fulfill project resourcing needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Software Engineering, Computer Science,

Information Systems, Information Technology)

• Experience leading a development team

• In-depth knowledge of programming languages like python and javascript

• Experience working with libraries such as Flask, React.js

• Experience working with databases – MySQL and SQL

• MongoDB, AWS, GCP, Azure

• Experience scraping guarded sites like Google, Amazon, Facebook

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with C-level leadership

• Experience building Amazon tools

• Experience working with Jira, Git, Asana, Slack

• Selenium and Puppeteer

• Deep understanding of selling on Amazon as an individual and FBA seller

Compensation & Benefits:

• $6500 USD per month (base + performance bonus)

• 4 weeks of Paid Time Off per year
